Determining the appropriate model and the number of systems to use depends on three factors:

• Site Condition

• Soil Resistivity

• Target Resistance

Before any grounding designs can be made, site conditions should be thoroughly assessed to determine accessibility. It is highly recommended
that a soil resistivity test be performed. It is also essential to know the desired impedance level so that calculations can be made to achieve a specific goal or target.

Every site, location, or project has its own unique characteristics and thus demands different applications. Bad conditions such as rock, sand, and limestone will either require deeper or longer models or even both. Special order configurations can accommodate any specifications or requirements.
